I've always lived a bit on the outside, looking in. I've worked in 4 different industries now, teaching, dramatic arts, advertising & marketing and now in the no-profit sector as a communications and fundraising consultant.

I believe in feeling big, taking risks, telling the truth and self-discovery. I love creating, being silly, exploring new places and new ideas.

I crave tranquility, which is hard with a toddler who talks non-stop and a crazy-ass dog who tears through the house dragging mud everywhere.

As a result I drink too much wine (red, not white in case you were wondering) but I don't drink while I am trail running or doing yoga, which is why I am challenging myself to run 21km and do 109 sun salutations.

I fell in love, fell pregnant and got married in the space of 6 months. Its been 4 years now and we still love the fact that we did that.

I am on a quest to live a different life, one that is peaceful but stimulating, quiet but exciting, a life full of wonder, discovery and love. There is no plan but I feel it coming together a little bit each day.

I run a marketing consultancy and work part time for an NGO as well as writeabout what it is like to be me while also being a mother, a wife and an adventurer of the spirit.
