I was born and raised in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. I am a both a fine artist and future Arts Education teacher. I am currently attending the University of Regina in order to receive my Arts Education Degree, majoring in Visual Arts with a minor in Drama. I am very passionate in the visual arts whether it is drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, or even graphic design. I hope to bring my passion into the classroom and teach and inspire kids about the world of visual art. I believe that visual art is not just the practice of creating something but it is also a form of play, expression, language, or even could be a historical component. Whether the kids are passionate about visual art or not, I hope to give them the confidence and to feel comfortable enough to experiment and discover. I hope to give them the knowledge to obtain certain skills so they are able to appreciate it, even if it is only for a moment.
