Hi! I'm Charla...'Charla Blue' because of my longtime obsession with the color turquoise. I have always been the family historian, since I was a young girl, capturing all of life's big and little moments. While traveling in Barcelona, Spain in 2007 a friend of mine loaned me his fancy schmancy camera to shoot with. And it was love at first click! I decided in a shoe shop in Barcelona that I wanted to be a photographer. And here I am six years later. I always say that photography is the dream job that I never knew I wanted.

I love the laughter of children. The look on the face of a groom when he sees his bride on their wedding day for the first time. I love intimate moments between loved ones captured. Kisses. Looks of tenderness. Exchanges of love. The joy between family and friends.

I'm inspired by sunny days. Blue skies. Big white fluffy clouds. Sun flare. Adventures in far off lands. Acoustic guitar and a glass of red wine. Kisses and cuddles. The honesty of others & their stories.

Enjoying the moment. Creating memories. Capturing them. Preserving them. Laughing. Loving. I live for all these things.
