When I was a kid, I wanted to be a mad scientist. Or work for the CIA because I heard they hire people to read all day.

My mom would take me to the public library and let me bring home as many books as I could carry. I wrote my first book when I was 10 on ruled paper bound inside a report cover.

Since then, I've read thoursands of books and written millions of words. I've published more than a dozen newsletters. I started my first blog in 1996 (before the word "blog" was invented).

I'm happiest at the keyboard with my mind racing and words dripping out of my fingertips as fast as I can capture them.

I love talking with small business people about their passions. I love helping people catch an even bigger vision for their businesses, and mapping out a strategy to make it happen.
