Charlene Potgieter (born Henning) is a former South African athlete who specialized in the Triple Jump.

In October 2012 Charlene announced that she would be retiring from athletics after a record breaking year.

"I now make time for the little things in life, i also have time to explore different activities and find out what i like and what i dont and if i am good at it or not.

Life does definitley not end after athletics or any sport for that matter...if someone tells you that, its probably because they are still stuck in their own dream which never realised and never will.
