History doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme.

Whether it was the shift in Railroads & Transportation, the Automobile & Mass Production, the Semiconductor and Personcal Computer, the Internet & ECommerce, or Wireless and Mobile, the greatest wealth transfers in history occur when technology cycles shift the market.

Every time there's a new technology cycle, wealth transfers like energy from old leaders (the incumbants) to the new.

At the age of 19 in a University of Chicago frat house, I stumbled on the wireless broadband adoption trend and in 5 years managed to create an 8 digit business that was reconigzed in 2004 by INC Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. Since then, I have continued to identify and capitalize on different trends across disparate industries.

All we need to do is to spot the trend early. Then, once we spot the trend, we want to be able to identify the trend within trend and find our niche.

By identifying the disparate trends between two (or more) random and unrelated worlds and bringing them together, we can

1. Introduce hot ideas to each other, so that they can make idea babies that no one has seen before

2. Create competitive advantage where we can move between worlds, speak multiple languages, connect the tribes, mashing elements to spark the fresh creative insight that changes lives.
