The MiWAY prepaid debit card will give you all the functionality of a debit card that is attached to a bank account.
Load your card and spend your money wherever Visa / MasterCard are accepted - shops, Internet over the phone etc.
There are no credit checks, the card is available over the counter at your local post office or can be ordered online.
It is estimated that a large switch from cash to electronic will save €1 billion a year to the Irish economy. There are significant savings to both banks and the government through modernising payment systems.
The post office handles over 44million benefit payments a year with a value of over €10 Billion.
The MiWAY card can be used to receive government payments that currently come through the post office e.g. Children's allowance, pension, job seekers allowance especially as the government plans to make all welfare payments electronically by 2017.
I have set up a prepaid debit card scheme for credit unions in Northern Ireland. I with my network of experts can design and implement a consumer focused debit card that will address all current account functionality.
Income will be derived from retailers and nominal charges for certain transactions, in addition to charges levied for further personalized services e.g. if you want to customize your card your way. I need 250K to get the card into production to provide the service to an unlimited number of customers.
I would welcome a meeting to elaborate further on my proposal.
