Charles Smith

I'm a local Northwest artist who loves using found minerals and gems to create one of a kind jewelry and wearable art. My wife and I find much of my materials along local beaches and rivers. My working method reflects my Native American heritage and belief that each element in nature has a unique life and a spirit of it's own. Every stone I use is completely hand cut and polished by me. My goal is always to shape the raw rock into shapes that highlight the story within. I then wrap them to present and complement the spirit of the individual stone.
