I'm a Professor of Earth science at Olivet Nazarene University. I enjoy helping others learn about this wonderful planet we call home. It provides for our needs and inspires our thoughts. Through scientific study, we can understand how to be thoughtful users of its resources without damaging its environments.

Geology is the most artistic of the sciences. Where else can you learn about where rivers come from, or what roots lie below mountains? On my website and through social media, I use photography to education people about Earth science. From landscapes to minerals, earthquakes to mountains, I show and tell people about this pale blue dot, our only home.
