A longtime presence in the Alaskan health care industry, Charles Clement serves as president and CEO of the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). Tasked with managing a $125 million organization, he engages with the board in ensuring that short- and long-term goals are met. Charles Clement manages approximately 1,000 staff members and engages with 18 Alaskan communities in helping to develop health care infrastructure.
A Tsimshian and Athabaskan of the Killer Whale clan, Mr. Clement guided the $200 million tribal health care organization Southcentral Foundation from 2009 to 2012. As vice president and chief operating officer, he created performance plans utilized by the executive management team. At various times, Mr. Clement took on a role as acting CEO and president. Charles Clement holds an undergraduate degree in economics and political science from Northern Arizona University and completed a masters of public administration at the University of Alaska. He also attended Harvard Business School’s executive leadership program.
