Hello, you have reached Charles Ditzel's About Me page. A page intended tell you a bit about me. Currently, I am to working on systems at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, an enterprise cloud. Before, I was consulting at a major telecommunications company and working on search engines. In my past endeavors I was a Solutions Consultant that has worked at Violin Memory, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, AT&T, Wireless, Microsoft and Boeing. I work on problems centered around the datacenter infrastructure and its software and I have also developed software in C, Objective C and Java. At Boeing I also worked with PLM86 on iRMX for controlling robots. I have spoken at the JavaOne Conferences four times. Three times in the Bay Area and one time in Tokyo. In the past I have written for AI Expert.

My focus has been on servers, storage, networks, clouds, virtualization and application middleware.
