An independent desktop publishing professional with a wide and varied career history, Charles Edward Roller currently handles page layout for large-format industrial print projects. Educated at Santa Monica College, Charles Edward Roller pursued studies in accounting and later worked for a number of companies in the greater Los Angeles area. Following a year in inventory control at aerospace manufacturer Teledyne, he began a lengthy period as a biomedical engineer at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences, where he repaired the full spectrum of general and specialized medical equipment. From there, he joined City of Industry’s Rebar Engineering as an iron worker and quickly progressed from apprentice to journeyman.
Since then, Charles Roller has built a prolific career in desktop publishing, using QuarkXPress to create projects for his clients. When not working, he enjoys adding to his substantial vinyl collection, restores old cars, plays the piano, and stays fit by running, lifting weights, and skiing in the winter months.Desktop Publisher and Layout Specialist
