Charles Heureaux

Born and raised outside of Washington D.C., all of my life I have been involved with the arts. As a youth I drew cartoons, participated in drama courses and even played in the school band. I always knew art was my passion, but I wasn’t sure what kind of art it would be until a few years ago. t was my 11th grade year when I discovered the Computer Graphics course. Projects ranged from graphic still compositions and 2-D animation to Web Design. All though I enjoyed all the fun and interesting aspects of my Computer Graphics class, I was still unsure of what I wanted to do. The one day it hit me.

Everyday, whether your pay check was smaller than usual to a national recession, individuals look for a way to escape their woes. I realized that when I looked at my bank statement. For a week straight I had went to my local grocery store to rent 2-3 movies from the Redbox machine. Funny thing, I would anticipate every Tuesday for the new release for the week. But that is when it hit me. I loved movies! I loved the feeling you get when watching your favorite stories. That is when I realize I wanted to be in the Film and Television Industry.

Coupled with my passion for the digital arts and business, I made the decision to get my degree at Full Sail University. Here at Full Sail University I had the pleasure of working on numerous music videos, two web series and various short stories. I realized my calling and have begun my journey to become a Producer and Editor. My start-up company is Blue Monkey Entertainment, which you can find a link here on my blog. Coming March 2011 I will have my Bachelors Degree. Remember the name, Charles Heureaux!
