Charles Humble

A forensic voice stress analyst and licensed polygraph examiner, Dr. Charles Humble has served as president of NITV FS, originally called the National Institute for Truth Verification, for the past 22 years. He established the company in his own home, and was originally responsible for all aspects of business operations, including training, sales, shipping, and financial management. In his leadership role with the firm, Dr. Charles Humble developed a computer voice stress analyzer that utilized an automatic scoring algorithm to examine voice patterns in order to detect deception.

Dr. Charles Humble has continually refined and improved the process, which is now used by over 2,500 local, state and federal agencies including the California Highway Patrol, Atlanta Police Department, the U.S. Military Special Forces, and the U.S. Federal Courts. Prior to establishing NITV FS, Dr. Humble served as president of Humble and Associates in Indianapolis, using the original voice stress analysis system to conduct truth verification examinations for private sector companies and law enforcement. Dr. Humble holds a bachelor of science in psychology and an honorary PhD from Indiana Christian University, and is a resident of Aventura, Florida. He is also an accomplished musician and a professional photographer, specializing in Florida landscapes and seascapes.
