Charles J. Peterson

Charles J. Peterson is currently a senior pursuing a Batchelor in Science for Recreation, Parks, and Tourism at West Virginia University. In his five years at WVU Charles has been an active member of the Professional Recreation, Parks, & Tourism Club, been the historian of Theta Chi Alpha Kappa Chapter.

Some of Charles's past employeers include Summers Here Day Camp, Lakeview Golf Resort, and River Riders.

While at WVU Charles has taken classes focussing on natural/cultural interpretation, recreation management, GIS technology, and is a certified Wilderness First Responder. Also, last winter Charles traveled with Adventure WVU to Patagonia, Chile to take a two week course on backcountry living and Leave No Trace ethics.

Charles J. Peterson will be graduating from WVU in May 2015 and hopes to pursue a career with the Department of the Interior.
