I make abstract oil paintings, mixed media works, take pictures and make conceptual art. I have a studio in San Francisco and a home in Oakland. I just released my second novel.

I really want to focus on words more, here in this giant social sphere we call the web. Some of that started many moons ago with The Well and AOL who now owns what seemed like a pretty cool service, this about.me thing. Embrace the branding! But also, what else can we say besides I like or love this image and "this is who I am in 120 characters or so, maybe, well, link, go here, follow this, like this, like me...please". Longreads and blogs and writing on keyboards larger than a smartphone often contribute to the love of language. Without it we might be just looking at a different kind of idiot-box, in our minds.
