Charles Kim

An alumnus of Binghamton University, Charles Kim is the co-founder and managing partner of the proprietary trading firm Alpine Securities. In addition to leading Alpine Securities, Charles Kim supports a range of charitable causes in New York. His company funds the King of the Wing competition that has generated tens of thousands of dollars for Nana Baby Children's Home. He has also generously supported his Alma mater, Binghamton University.
Charles Kim sits on the Binghamton University Foundation board and has provided funding for the school's Young Sam Kim Korean Student Center, which opened in 2017 to serve as an academic research center where students can develop innovative ideas and foster relationships. He and his wife have also provided funding to the school to support student scholarships.
In addition to his philanthropy at Binghamton University, Mr. Kim is a founding member of Junior Achievement of the Virgin Islands and established funds to provide emergency assistance to island residents impacted by Hurricane Irma.
