An experienced healthcare executive, Charles Laverty holds a bachelor of arts in education from Parson College in Fairfield, Iowa. He got his start in senior administration in the late 1960s as chief operating officer of the multi-location food and beverage company, the Dobuke Corporation. From 1981 to 1987, Charles Laverty performed a range of management functions for C.R. Bard, a multinational developer and manufacturer of specialized medical technologies based in Murray Hill, New Jersey.

Charles Laverty went on to serve tenures as president and chief executive officer of InfusionCare, Inc., and Curaflex Health Services. He ultimately took Curaflex public and merged it with five other public companies to create Corum Healthcare.

Mr. Laverty left Corum in 1993 to become chairman and CEO of Davstar Industries. Changing the company’s name to Imagyn Medical Technologies, he expanded it into a $200 million revenue generator. His responsibilities at Imagyn encompass all areas of operations, manufacturing, sales, and distribution.
