Charles Lawson

I am the owner of a professional photography and giclee printing studio in Eastern Virginia near the Chesapeake Bay.

I am a speaker on topics ranging from basic studio lighting and the fundamentals of photography to printing technology and color management. I am a member of the Virginia Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of America, and National Association of Photoshop Professionals. I am a PPA Certified Professional Photographer and an elected PPA Councilor for the term 2012-2015.

Outside of my professional photography career I enjoy collecting old cameras and maintaining a full analog darkroom for 35mm to 4x5" film. I also enjoy Amateur Radio (Ham Radio). My callsign is KK4AIO--look me up on the air! World politics also pique my interest as does any device with a button, light, or switch. I've been a gadget and technology freak since my first computer (Apple IIgs) at 8 years old.
