Established in 1921, the Charles River Country Club is among the top golf courses in Massachusetts. Located outside of Boston, Charles River features a par-72 course for members and a par-70 course for championship play.

Designed by prominent golf architect Donald Ross, the 18-hole course has four single-shot holes as well as two consecutive three-shot holes. With Ross’s classic combination of easy and challenging holes, the course is enjoyed by both amateur and professional golfers.

In 2006, the course hosted the Massachusetts Open Championship, which was won by Geoff Sisk. The prestigious course has also hosted other local and regional tournaments, including the Massachusetts Amateur Championship and two United States Golf Association (USGA) tournaments.

In addition to the course, members have access to well-appointed golf practice facilities, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and an upscale dining room. With a reputation as an ideal place for families, Charles River also offers junior golf and tennis programs to help young people develop their skills in both games.
