Charles Zakarin is the CEO of RMG Digital Solutions, a brand reputation agency specializing in online reputation restoration, branding, scholarship management, and podcast production.
After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from New York University in 1984, Charles began his career in Institutional Bond Sales at the investment firm of LF Rothschild Unterberg Towbin.
In 1989, he established American Automotive Equipment (AAE), an automotive aftermarket distributor, manufacturer, and importer based in Portchester, NY, and Cleburne, TX. He successfully led AAE for two decades before selling a 51% stake to a Shanghai-based manufacturer in 2012.
Mr. Zakarin transitioned his career trajectory in 2013, working as a consultant in the emerging field of online reputation management. And In 2018, he founded RMG Digital Solutions, which today offers a comprehensive suite of services, including online reputation restoration, personal and business branding, scholarship management, and podcast production. The agency's tailored approach to assisting individuals and businesses in navigating the complex digital landscape sets it apart from other companies in its sector.

Notable stuff
1972 - At just 10 years old, had the honor of being part of the delegation welcoming the Chinese National Table Tennis Team during their visit to the United States. This visit, which took place one year after the US team’s historic visit to Mainland China, opened diplomatic relations between the US and PRC - marking the beginning of “Ping Pong Diplomacy”.
1988 - Partnered with the former head of NBC programming to Executive Produce The Gifted, which premiered at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival and was attended by notable critics, including the late Roger Ebert. The film enjoyed widespread distribution throughout Europe.
2020 - 2024 - Established, managed and fulfilled 140 academic scholarships on behalf of my clients, providing critical tuition assistance to a range of students attending 88 U.S. colleges and universities across the United States.
