My career started on the north slope of Alaska at 17. I became an intern at IBM at 18, gained industry leading training from Ogilvy and Ziff Davis, and then spent 15 years listening, learning, and successfully growing 5 complex sales/revenue teams. What I learned is that talent, success, and leadership are only partially about pedigree, base metrics, and skill sets. Skill and trust are about listening, problem solving, executing smart and achievable solutions.
I've been trusted to develop, revitalize and lead growth stage revenue teams, and I've helped to mentor, model, build and accelerate passionate start-ups. Either way, I am a mission critical, results driven senior executive that is as comfortable and vibrant in the corporate board room as I am in a garage. I love them both!
I have recruited, trained and managed complex cross departmental teams ranging from 8-50 people and $10-50M in revenue. My expertise includes community, social media, email, video content networks, CMS platforms, SEO, SEM, MRM, and iTV technologies, and for the past several years I've worked side by side with entrepreneurs helping to test, iterate and build disruptive start-ups.
