Edinburgh

I read Politics and Modern History for my undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester and graduated with a First Class honours degree. I've also studied at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently studying for an MSc at the University of Edinburgh.

I'm interested in the polemicism and political writing of the long eighteenth century, particularly in the languages of liberalism and common law in works of opposition.

I'm also interested in how changing economic context, living standards, and experience affects perceptions of morality and social convention.

More broadly, I have an interest in community and heritage, I've recently been involved in projects with the Manchester Histories Festival and Withington Civic Society.

I'm currently the Resident Assistant for one of Edinburgh's postgraduate halls of residence.

I sit on the EUSA Trading Committee as an elected member, with a particuar focus on the organisation's retail activity.
