I am the director of Polis, the journalism and society think-tank at the LSE.

I used to be a journalist at the BBC and ITN's Channel 4 News but I am now a professor in the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics.

I research change in journalism around the world and have published two books, 'SuperMedia' and 'WikiLeaks: News In The Networked Era'.
