Charlie Curvada

Charlie Curvada is many things: a mother, a model, activist....Getting her start in various publications such as VBW Times and Curvaceous Magazine, Curvada soon found herself being featured as the premier issue Cover Model for Bodacious Magazine in the summer of 2005, shortly before being cast as one of the top 10 finalists in the Oxygen Network's Mo'Nique's Fat Chance, a plus sized beauty pageant that took the nation by storm and made history! In 2006, she was named a Plush Cat and was featured as Miss June in the 2006 Plush Cat Club Calendar. She has been featured in a myriad of local fashion shows and has had cameo spots in several TV show pilots, as well as National Lampoon's Adam and Eve. After taking a long hiatus to focus on her family, Charlie Curvada is ready to take the world by the horns....again!

There's no stopping Charlie as she embarks on a journey fueled by years of experience both in the plus sized community, and the real world. Currently taking on the roles of model, activist, spokesperson, female Emcee (recently featured on the new hit single "Nacho$" with Jonny Tee and the Fab 5 West and now adding the title of Co-Editor and Creative Director at RESIST Magazine, Charlie Curvada is building an empire all her own.
