I have over 20 years’ experience as a trainer and course coordinator, coordinated and delivered soft-skills training courses and Forum Theatre, both locally and abroad. I also coached drama students at the National Drama Centre for two years.

For 11 years, I worked as an Executive with Malta's National Agency in the field of addictions. For two years I worked as Research Executive. Later, I managed the Community-Based prevention programmes for 4 years, working closely with Local Councils, public organisations and NGOs. Then, I was entrusted with the management of a team of peripatetic teachers for 5 years, working mainly with 11-17 year old students. I worked with young people both in schools as well as in informal setups such as youth centres, sports associations and NGOs. I organised and facilitated residential weekend courses for youths and students. I also worked with adults, such as parents, non-formal educators, teachers, university students, nursing students, professionals, and prison inmates.

I have devised several soft-skills training programmes and tools, co-authored training manuals for PSD, Home Economics and Social Studies teachers, authored publications about addictions aimed at students and the general public, delivered ‘train the trainer’ courses.I also organised several conferences, seminars and outreaches.
