Growing up, I have always loved animals. When I was three years old, my family got our first animals. They were two dogs and their names were Sarah and Rowdy. I loved playing with them outside in my yard with my other siblings. Then a few years later, we got chickens and goats. In the following years, we added horses, cows, pigs, ducks, and turkeys to complete our small family farm.
Living on a farm has been so fun and I would not trade it for the world. There is always something crazy going on and I never know what animal we are going to get next. Over quarantine, my mom got baby ducks and baby turkeys. They came in the mail in a small cardboard box. When we first got them, they were so small and they fit right in your hand. They were too small to be able to live outside so my mom kept them in a cage in our laundry room. My step-dad also found a baby bunny in our backyard and we kept him in the laundry room too. It was like our own mini zoo in there. We named the bunny Rona since we found him during the Corona Virus. One night my family was watching TV together in our living room and I was holding him in my lap. All of the sudden he hopped off my lap, onto the coffee table, and down to the floor. Before I could catch him, he ran under the couch. I quickly looked under the couch but could not find him. My whole family then looked all over my house for an hour but there was still no sign of him. We decided to leave some food for him in the kitchn and hoped that he would find it and then we could catch him while he was eating. There was still no sign of him for the rest of the night. Thankfully I kept looking for him the next morning and I found him in my parents closet.
