I am an unconventional stay-at-home-mom to two energetic kids who are autistic. I am also the wife of an amazing woman and one of my children is transgender (MTF). I worked in merchandising before having my children then copyediting, but my real passions are writing, cooking, and photography. When my firstborn was diagnosed with Aspergers and gender dysphoria I to read books and research organizations to help me help my child. Then I had a complicated second pregnancy and was let go from my job during that time. After becoming a SAHM. I started writing, cooking, taking photographs, and compiling resources that dealt with gender variance and Autism. In my research I've found that there are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to learning disabilities, sexuality, and offbeat parenting. I created this blog to remind myself that being an individual doesn't mean I'm a bad parent or person.
