Charlotte Nicholls

Charlotte Nicholls (1990, Plymouth) is a Portrait and Documentary Photographer. She is a student at The Plymouth College of Art, currently on her third and final year of her BA Degree in Photography.

Some of her projects in the past have included working with ex-inmates, photographing those who work night shifts and creating a book.

The project Charlotte is currently conducting is a development from working with people who work at night however looking solely at the three emergency services; The Ambulance, The Police and The Fire Fighters. This is to promote the hard work and dedication the individuals give to their work, something that should never be taken for granted.

Using a combination of Portraiture and Documentary, Charlotte attempts to spend time with the team, capturing the little moments, having one to one interviews and to produce honest photographs.
