Who am I?

I am a completely, utterly lost JAFFA.

If you do not know what a JAFFA is, perhaps you have stumbled upon an alien world and you should beat a hasty retreat forthwith!

JAFFA stands for Jane Austen Fan Fiction Addict. And I surely am addicted! I have read over 100 books written in the JAFF genre and my appetite is not even beginning to be sated.

I am obsessively focused on the JAFF related to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice book. I cannot explain it - I find such calming pleasure from being immersed in the characters and story-line of her brilliant original work as explored by the different JAFF authors.

Outside my JAFF obsession, I am an ordinary middle-aged single-mother of 3 wonderful young children, making my way through life the best I can. For me, JAFF is a much needed, and welcome, distraction from the many challenges in my life. It is the friend I come home to whenever I am alone.
