My name is Charlotte Russell and I am a third year Communication and Media student at Bournemouth University.

I have started a journalism blog to analyse and discuss the evolution of journalism from print to citizen journalism on social media.

I have always been intrigued by social media and how much it impacts society, especially with regards to news reporting and online journalism. I believe that twitter and other social media sites are great platforms for keeping us all engaged in what is going on in the world but I am interested in the alternative view and eager to explore if there is a right or wrong way to consume news and current affairs.
