CHARLOTTE STRONG is a grassroots group of concerned community members taking a proactive approach to:

#1. Ensure community member's voices are heard by the City of Rochester and Rochester City Council.

#2. Start the Phase II development process over. We want the City of Rochester to do the right thing from the beginning of the selection process to assure the project is being vetted & proposals are received from several other developers. We don’t want to stop development or the City’s investment in the Charlotte community. We acknowledge that everyone may not agree on what type of development is needed or not needed.

#3. Requesting a new & different Request for Proposal (RFP) to make sure community input is captured before a developer is chosen so this project is a long-term success for everyone.
