"Dad, let's go the park and play softball!"

"Oh, I'd love to, but I'm whipped."

"Oh man, I really want to play with you..."

I love my daughters SO much that I would never want to have that conversation with them.

However, in April of 2010, it happened with my oldest daughter, Paige.

At that very moment, I knew I needed to do something to change, I didn't want to be 'the dad with no energy'. I also noticed I was showing up like that in other areas of my life, too.

So I did what most people, today, do and jumped on Google and started my search on "how to have more energy".

I quickly discovered that having more energy had quite a few parts to it and keeping perspective over time was a BIGGEST hurdle to overcome.

Shortly thereafter, I discovered a world of "High Performance Living" and when I committed to it - everything started to change. Over a few months, I lost 40 lbs, gained clarity, confidence, and yes, had much higher levels of sustained energy. :)

High Performance Living is first, defining your best self, and then consciously stepping into it every day.

As I discovered, defining your best self means understanding how you are doing in these areas: clarity, energy, courage, productivity and influence. And consciously stepping into it every day means gaining mastery in these six areas: psychology, physiology, persuasion, productivity, presence (this was a REAL game changer for me) and purpose.

In March of 2013, I became a Certified High Performanance Coach and passionately coach in each of those areas!
