Hi there! I'm a data storyteller with 12 years of experience, first as a historian of Germany and since 2015 as an analyst in tech. I'm currently looking for a product analytics or business intelligence opportunity, one that lets me leverage my inquisitive bent, honed communication skills and user empathy to bring products and people forward.

I've got an unusual professional background, starting with a Ph.D. in European history from the University of Pennsylvania. Positions in my field of research dried up after 2008, so in the midst of two postdoctoral fellowships in Berlin I decided to reorient and learn to interpret a different data set, namely web and mobile, yet without abandoning the role of information mediator that I'd come to relish as a historian.
