Chase Crapps

Hi! My name is Chase Crapps and I am from Columbus, GA. Before I wanted to pursue a career in the opera world, I actually wanted to become a professional baseball player. I played for nine years and actually enjoyed it, if I am being honest. Eventually, I just got tired of it and decided to switch over into the music and arts world. I guess that was my way of expressing myself, the real me. I am an openly gay male (not that it matters), but it has not always been that way. During the baseball phase, I did not know who I was or what I was doing within life, until I quit for music. Music brings the joy out of me, and honestly, I do not know what I would do without it. Aside from music, I love to paint and I love going to museums. Basically, I love all forms of art. In my hometown, Columbus, there was not much art to see or things to do, so I did most of my viewings virtually-- maybe that is why I am so used to using zoom and doing things behind a screen. I put a link to my TikTok on my account, because I did not know what else to put, but if you would like to watch some, I have 55k followers. A lot of people consider that to be "famous," but I do not feel famous. Although, one day I will be a famous opera singer...just wait and see. :)
