In 1987, after leaving Cossette Communications’ I started my own Strategic Consulting firm. We were lean, smart, and driven. My first major client was Barings Asset Management, followed by the Province of Ontario and eventually nearly every Financial Sector company. WHY? Because we offered something no-one else could highly creative, programs that were delivered on time & on budget. In 4 years we produced more than 400 Multi-media shows/presentations (complete with collateral materials & adverting). This was all before the Internet or even PowerPoint. We launched over 200 mutual funds and financial service products. The company had billings in excess of 24 million dollars. With more than two decades of experience in developing highly successful strategic & innovative business development solutions, marketing, and public affairs programs. I have had the privilege of working with many of North America’s major financial companies, major retailers two of Canada’s & North America’s most prestigious Law Practices; Lang Michener and Osler Hoskins. Each client had its’ very own corporate persona and required unique proactive programs and platforms. I developed and oversaw the execution of strategic public affairs, and sales/business development plans that successfully increased revenue flow for the firms.
I have developed and executed enhancement techniques and support methodologies and assisted each clients ‘sector.
My MBA Thesis was on The Globalization of Markets; my Professor thought it “marvelously entertaining”. Giving me A-“for the entertainment value”. That was before there were Global Markets, Internet, or even computers as we know them today. My success as a consultant is due in part that I continue to “think outside the box”.
