Born and raised in small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA, I was blessed with what I feel was the perfect balance of urban culture and rural charm. I spent my summers running around the Laurel Highlands; swimming, backpacking, canoeing, and learning to appreciate the beauty of both nature and humanity. The rest of the year was spent in and around Pittsburgh; concerts, museums, art galleries, and live theatre filled my mind with wonderment and sparked my imagination.
My life since high school graduation has been filled with both academic persuits and 'real world' experiences. I'm a WVU Alumnus, a published author, and experienced in many practical facets of business including but not limited to customer service, budgeting, management, and corporate training.
In my spare time I dabble in photography, read current and classic literature, write ardently, and try, as often as possible, to find joy and inspiration in the many other activities I remember fondly from childhood.
