Chaton Daniels

Im Chaton Daniels and I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Orange County, California and shaped by a childhood spent in group homes and the streets. I’ve survived homelessness in multiple states, time in prison, and more obstacles than most people ever see.

But I grew through all of it.
Every struggle taught me a lesson and brought me closer to my purpose.

I was born female and later transitioned to male, and I stand proudly with the LGBTQ community.

I enjoy quiet things that allow for me to think like chess and video games.

I’m the author of A Light In The Struggle and an advocate and I believe in making the world better for the next generation. My life hasn’t been easy but it’s mine and it’s made me who I am: someone who keeps going, keeps learning, and keeps choosing growth.
