I currently live in Springfield MO, am married to a wonderful man, and work full-time. I am a Christ follower who is totally in love with Jesus. I am on a journey of spiritual growth to become the person God wants me to be.

I am ashamed to say that God wasn't always this close but was on the "fringe" for a long time. I knew God, so to speak, but didn't know Him intimately and was not taught anything on how to grow closer to Him growing up.

I grew up in what I now know was a dysfunctional home. What I was taught growing up was I should strive to be perfect, not show any faults or imperfections, and present the "right" appearance to the outside world.

Well, this left me with a lot of wrong images about myself and a lot of baggage that I am now working through and it hasn't been pretty at times.

So, my blog is about my journey, who I was and who I'm striving to be. What God has revealed and is revealing during the process about me and life in general.

I'll also be sharing about other interests, such as health and fitness, cooking/baking, and anthing else that pops into my head that I feel led to share.

I've discovered that I have a lot of neat thoughts, ideas, discussions, etc. in my head that I need to put in writing.
