Hi, my name is Anestis and I am a greek web professional and entrepreneur. I am also TEDxThessaloniki founder, an online communications consultant and founder at Quidro and Cinego.gr co-founder.
From 2006 to 2011 I was a tech editor at Away.gr, a greek online media for technology and startups. On 2008 me and my friend John launched Cinefreaks.gr. That was our first online media project. After an one and a half year break, we relaunched Cinefreaks.gr on October 2013. Our latest venture is Cinego.gr, an online service for greek movie theatres' program.
I also had the chance to work on RestartTV, a tv show about technology and entrepreneurship on Thessaloniki's Municipal TV Station (TV100), as editor-in-chief from September 2011 to April 2012.
On 2010, I started working on several online projects, and I work now as a freelance web designer, social media consultant and media projects developer. I founded Quidro, a team of collaborating web professionals, on September 2013.
I also joined first TEDxAthens' team on June 2009 but left after a few months, to dedicate to organising TEDxThessaloniki, which I founded on October 2009 and run as Curator, co-Curator and later as Speakers' coach until 2015.
Since October of 2015 I am an active member of IDEA non profit team, working as an online community manager and strategic partners co-ordinator on its projects (TEDxLesvos and The Island of Love festival among others).
I hold a Computer Science degree from the Aristotle's University in Thessaloniki.
