Nicolas Chaumartin

Nicolas Chaumartin is currently in charge of Business Development in North America. Prior to this role, he had the responsability of Head of Mobile Product Management at Oberthur Technologies. Nicolas’s role was to manage the development of a range of SIM cards and Applications. He has launched products and applications in the fields of M2M, NFC and is currently working on the embedded SIM. At Oberthur, he was responsible for redefining an entry range product family to address emerging markets, build a product offer for Telecom Group Vodafone and reposition the company on CDMA market. He joined the company in 2005 as Marketing Product Manager for mobile product line. Prior to Oberthur Technologies, Nicolas has held several positions in the smart card industry dealing with product development and innovation management. He has represented the smart card industry in various mobile communications standardization bodies such as OMA, 3GPP and 3GPP2. Nicolas holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from INPG, Grenoble, France.
