Chauncey Zalkin
Chauncey Zalkin is the co-founder of Show Love (www.showloveworld.com), social content for lovable companies. She is a writer and content strategist returned to New York after five years spent in Paris and Barcelona writing her first novel. Chauncey founded the very first street trend blog, Girlonthestreet.com in 1999 which was nominated for a Webby in 2003 before she went on to become a senior brand strategist and ethnographer. In 2009, she founded What Women Make (www.whatwomenmake.com) dedicated to keeping tabs on the most talented creative women in the world with a heavy bent on industrial design and innovation. She's taught strategy and trends at the Istituto Europeo de Design in Barcelona, given social media and ethnography workshops in Paris and Barcelona, hosted an international women in design exhibit in London in 2010 as an official partner of the London Design Festival, consulted with a media conglomerate in Prague on transitioning to a digital model, and served as the Social Media Director at the Art Directors Club of Europe. Her and her partner's latest projects include a soon-to-launch content project for Getty Images, a short about a bike shop that's garnered over 250k views, another about the Young Farmers Conference at Stone Barns, two unique and superb sustainable furniture designers, and others about bakeries, breweries and more.
