This is Sameera Chavakula and I’m a person who is positive about every aspect of life. I want to see APTA flag high providing more quality services always every time, with this motive served APTA as Empire region ASEP Director (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware) and reached members, educated about ASEP, motivated and mobilized donations to benefit our community students back in India. I have motivated and developed volunteer force to help APTA to serve better.

Key player in Mega Blood drives and received accolades from Mega Star Chiranjeevi garu. Key player in developing and instilling TEAM spirit in all APTA events in Empire region.

Me and my family are dedicated volunteers and participating in most of the APTA services, and my husband Venkat Chavakula served as Public Relations Chair for 2017-2018 and also many of my close relatives served APTA.

I am a graduate in Science (B.Sc.,) and also in Law (B.L.). I hail from Cuddapah district and lived and studied in Nellore, Prakasam and Guntur Districts. My father was a Retd. Asst. Commissioner of Police. My family has a strong footing in politics for the past 3 generations in Rayalaseema.

My husband Venkat Chavakula is currently working in Ernst & Young LLP as Manager – Advisory Performance improvement. My father-in-law Late. Dr.Chavakula Narayana Rao garu (Retd. Deputy Civil Surgeon) hails from West Godavari District.

Blessed with two wonderful kids Sai Santosh and Sanjana and living in New Jersey. My entire family served the community and extending the same in APTA to uplift our community and supported by my husband Venkat Chavakula – APTA Public Relations Chair.

I have started as a volunteer in APTA and within no time became ASEP Director for Empire Region. I have reached members, educated about ASEP program, motivated to refer students from their regions to benefit our community students back in India in AP and Telangana. Apart from ASEP, I have participated in APTA activities where help is required. I am Instrumental in regional events and activities to implement successfully as TEAM. Also, motivated and developed volunteer force to help APTA to serve better.

Ialways believe that as a team we can do wonders. Once elected as JointSecretary will do my best for APTA services be implemented with much reach tothe community with quality services with unity and co-ordination. Can motivate members to take part in our APTAservices as a TEAM.
