"Dr. Uday Chavan is a young & Dynamic Surgical Oncologist noted in the southern part of Hyderabad. ". His milestone was acquiring the state 1st rank to get the only M.ch seat in twin state (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) in 2013 in surgical oncology. He completed his graduation from Kamineni institute of medical sciences in 2008, post-graduation in general surgery from MNR medical college in 2012. He completed his super-specialty in surgical oncology at the prestigious MNJ institute of oncology and regional cancer center - affiliated to Osmania medical college in 2016. Worked for one year at MNJ institute, later got appointed as a full-time consultant surgical oncologist at the Bibi cancer institute at Malakpet in 2017.
He performed over 1200 cancer surgeries at that hospital in the last 4 years. He got special training at “MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER” one of the world-renowned cancer centers in the department of head and neck oncology, in March 2015. His research work on SENTINEL LYMPH NODE BIOPSY IN ORAL CANCER was selected for ORAL PAPER PRESENTATION IN INTERNATIONAL CANCER CONFERENCE - ACOS 2016 and was well appreciated. He received the prestigious “VAIDYA SREE AWARD” in March 2019 for his work for the poor people in society. He participated in various cancer awareness programs in media, television, and in public.
