I variably think and write in English and in Filipino, as long as it is in a sing-song manner. I am based in the Philippines, and while post-colonial in upbringing, I would like to enter into wild discourses about the Philippine Arts.

I am preoccupied recently with archiving visual art works online and pairing them with what I suppose are the most apt aural representations one could surmise. For example, I feel that a Caitlin Weltz Stein is best viewed with The Smashing Pumpkin's "Tonight, tonight" on cue. (Photo on left is credited to the aforementioned artist)

I tend to babble about how one guitar riff could changed the manner how a person strides, which consequently directs the pace of my entire day.

I blurt out questions about musicians and their lyrics uncontrollably, as if witholding inquiry were terminal malady.

And I listen to these musicians and their lyrics as if they own the pulse that keeps me alive.
