Chaz Sta. Brigida

Winnipeg-based filmmaker, Chaz Sta. Brigida, writes scripts, directs and occasionally acts, when not writing autobiographies in the third person. Originally planning to pursue a career in acting and briefly training at the Prairie Theater Exchange at a young age, she landed the lead in a high school stage adaptation of "Night of the Living Dead," before eventually succumbing to the siren call of filmmaking. A cinephile born and bred, Chaz has been making short films and writing screenplays since childhood, with a keen interest in all things morbid and creepy. When not directing, she can be found reading Greek mythology, watching Audrey Hepburn films, and playing with her black cat, Romeo.
