Cheerag Arya

Cheerag Arya is the son of the chairman of JBF industries limited. JBF RAK is an established industry leader in packaging products. The organization is a principal supplier for PET Resins and BoPET Films in the Middle East. It also exports products to more than 50 countries across the globe and has a sizeable presence in the EU and US as well. As a management graduate, Arya has an in-depth understanding of the global petrochemical industry and polyester business. Under his leadership, he has led the business to new heights continuously during the last six years of operating in the UAE. The UAE subsidiary contributed $700 million to the group’s total turnover of $1.6 billion in 2013. Arya is supervising all overseas projects. As part of his global expansion strategy, Arya hopes to transform JBF Group into an international conglomerate with on-going, greenfield projects in countries such as Belgium, Bahrain, and India.

In his free time, Arya enjoys reading, playing chess, spending time with his family, meditating, and yoga. He also is an avid supporter of the Hope Foundation, which aims to change the lives of children, young adults, and vulnerable individuals in India. The foundation improves the lives of over 50,000 people every year through providing healthcare, education, and the skills needed to make a living.
