chef hermes
‘Chef Hermes’, who was once called “very very naughty” by Gordon Ramsay on Twitter, is a veteran of over twenty five years in award winning kitchens. He is the author of the blog on chefhermes.com, as well as writing for other professional chef aimed publications.
Realising that he could share his experience with a wider audience, the Chef Hermes blog was born on February 21st 2010. Since then it’s made ‘Best of the blogs’ several times in The Caterer & Hotelkeeper, & has been short listed for ‘Blog of the year’ in 2011 Caterer Web awards.
Now balancing time: in kitchens; posting on chefhermes.com; writing articles and keeping his followers entertained on the social networks. ‘Chef Hermes’ is a rare commodity, a blogger who has actually lived & breathed both sides of the kitchen door.
Loved by many; hated by a few, ‘Chef Hermes’ obeys few rules in his maverick style, which has brought him to the attention of more than one publication. The Evening Standard magazine said he “provided an acidic commentary to the Worlds 50Best” through his Twitter account being one such example.
The one thing that you can be sure of though, is that you’re always going to get an insightful comment from somebody who has been there, seen it & done it.
