Chef Michael Fortner has extensive experience in developing staff, menus, procedures and training protocol in large corporate owned restaurants with a high profile clientele as well as smaller independent restaurants with a need to grow and establish standards and implement training procedures. Extensive background in total restaurant operation, identifying critical areas within operation and other areas for systems implementations. Chef Fortner is a strong and decisive leader with excellent planning, analytical, organizational, and team building skills. Using an aggressive approach to cost reduction that involves labor, inventory, controlables and process solutions. Chef Fortner grows top line revenues through aligning value propositions and offerings to the restaurant demographic.

Chef Fortner is very involved with Share Our Strenghts, No Kid Hungry Campain, it is one of his passions to help iradicate childhood hunger through the kitchen. Teaching families how to shop, prepare and serve, healthy, nutritious meals on a budget as well advocating for schools to provide heathly, affordable lunches to all students.
