I'm Michelle Lonski and I am a PR student finishing second-year at Durham College. I am going into the 5th semester of the advanced diploma which consists of a summer placement with Pickering Library. PR was not my frist choice, I was in the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Durham College and realized that I was not interested in training people for the rest of my life.

I currently work at Lone Star in Pickering as a server. I love country music so this is a great place for me to work, plus I love the vibe and how fun it is. I have also been passionate about bartending and miss it very much. I am hoping to pursue bartending at Lone Star eventually.

I came from Mississauga which was a big change. Coming from somewhere with almost a million people to Oshawa with 110,000 people was definitely an experience. I love it out here though much better than the big city. It feels more close together and more homey.
